Image for Windows – Backup Utility for Windows
Review by on
Wondering why it is a good idea to backup your important data? The answer to that one is quite simple: if something were to go wrong, you will not lose your important data. If a hardware failure, computer crash, or virus attack compromises your data, it will not be lost because you have the backup.

Director of Technical Education with Eset, Randy Abrams says it best: “if your data is important enough to put on a hard drive, be sure you back it up.” How do you backup your important data? The answer to this one is quite simple as well: you do what I always do. And what I always do is turn to software for help, find an application out there that can lend a helping hand.

One such application is the TeraByte Unlimited-developed Image for Windows. Image for Windows backs up your data by creating a snapshot of an entire partition or volume; the backup can be saved on a CD, DVD (thus creating a bootable restore disc), on a local network drive, or on an external USB drive. If something goes awry and your data is compromised, you can easily restore the drive image.

If you’re worried that using Image for Windows is a complicated process, you need not be. The application comes with a simple, wizard-driven interface that should not pose a problem to any user, not even the novice.

Before you go get Image for Windows and put it to the test, take a look at the technical details presented below:
Download – the download weighs in at 6.9MB, which means it will not take long to get the application off the web and onto your computer.
Supported OS – at the time of writing this and according to the developer, Image for Windows provides support for pretty much all Windows versions, including Vista and Windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit editions).
Limitations – you can use Image for Windows free of charge for a trial period of 30 days.

If you are looking for a reliable, easy to use, powerful and affordable application to backup your important data and safeguard it from unexpected accidents, you need not look any more – you’ve found a match in Image for Windows.
